The conflict escalates to international level

According to Arab media the bosses of the secret services of Egypt and Israel have met in Cairo. Egypt may pretend as much as it wants that it has no connection to the conflict, but the next escalation level is a full blown conflict between Egypt and Israel.

It may be Iran, which backs Hamas in Palestine, but it's Egypt borders under that the missiles delivered to Gaza.

According to the newspaper "Al-Masri al-Yaum", referring to the representatives of the Airport Authority of the Egyptian capital, the informal meeting of the security services of Egypt and Israel was held on Sunday in Cairo's international airport.

The meeting hardly gives any hope for resolution of the conflict. According to reports, the "responsible representative" of Israeli intelligence, accompanied by three of his colleagues on Sunday afternoon arrived in Cairo on board a private plane from Tel Aviv. It was conducted at the airport, where the closure of the office held talks "with several members of the security of Egypt." Private plane, arriving from Tel Aviv, had been in Cairo airport for several hours.

Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi last night at a press conference in Cairo, said that his Islamist government is in contact with both sides of the conflict, and there is "some reason to hope for an early cease-fire."

The Islamist government of the Gaza Strip reported that last night, Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh held a 20-minute telephone conversation with the Mursi, it was "on the efforts of ... to stop the aggression and to achieve peace. "
