This thing is big, and EADS resorted to use of traditional materials materials in design of A380.
There was a reason WHY, no one build THAT big, probably because traditional aluminium alloys have their limits.
Now the news wires are full with messages about the cracks,- but you know what is funny? - aFrench upbeat on the problem, and their confidence that this thing still can fly.
